ANALYSIS OF DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTIVE CHAINS IN COLOMBIA DURING 2020
Abstract
The following research shows the results of an analysis of production chains and their development in Colombia during the year 2020. Production chains make it possible to determine the contributions of all the participants and processes involved in the transformation of agricultural products, from the time it is produced by farmers on the farm, until the final consumer acquires it in the form of other products. Many variables are needed to determine the effectiveness of the chain using many tools. For the analysis, the description of the production chain will be developed considering the main processes of its production, such as the provision of inputs, production, transformation, commercialization, and final consumers. In addition to the supporting elements, such as pandemic, human resources and technological development. Also, using the SCOPUS database, considering the period 1980-2020, to obtain indicators on production chains that show the main researchers, countries, journals, and scientific products that have written on this subject. Based on the description of the production chain, the activities with high technological participation throughout the process are determined. Considering two of the main activities with technological impact, which will be analyzed, and the results will be presented at the Colombian level.
