Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • 2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • 3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

Author Guidelines

APPROACH:

Aimed at researchers, its objective is to publish original articles and unpublished research results, in English, Portuguese and Spanish, of international scope, which comply with the provisions of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) code of ethics, to which magazine is attached. The editorial and scientific team has an ethical commitment and responsibility in the application of the journal's policy and management, using plagiarism detection tools. Its periodicity is every six months. It publishes at least 18 articles distributed in 2 issues a year, under an Open Access system. The journal uses the external review system by expert peers, anonymously, using the "double-blind peer review" method. As the magazine is in permanent call, those interested can send their manuscripts through the OJS platform. I n addition, all scientific articles will have an originality report through the Turnitin anti-plagiarism software (Indexation).

- Sports and society: Sports training, children's sports, sciences applied to sports training, sports planning and others.

- Physical activity and health: Prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases, recreation and leisure, outdoor activities, fitness among others.

- Business administration: Corporate social responsibility, circular economy, processes management, supply chains, entrepreneurship, among others.

- Educational strategies: Professional training, inclusive professional specialization, invisible pedagogy, educational didactics and others.

GENERAL INFORMATION

GADE review is a bilingual publication of RED GADE under the FUNGADE Editorial Seal, NIT 901294218- 8, registered in the Colombian Book Chamber and in the Bibl National Library of said country. It has a semi-annual regularity, starting its first issue in April 2020. It is a refereed publication that uses the external review system by experts (peer-review), in accordance with the APA 7.0 (American Psychological Association) publication standards. Compliance with these requirements facilitates their indexing in the main international databases, guaranteeing a greater dissemination of the published articles and, therefore, of their authors and work centers.

SCOPE AND POLICY:

GADE review accepts articles resulting from research on the established descriptors (2.1) written in Spanish or English. Papers must be original, not have been published in any media or be in the process of publication, being the responsibility of the authors to comply with this rule. Contributions in the journal can be research with 6,000/8,000 words of text, including title, abstracts, descriptors, tables, and references. The publications will be biannual (20 articles per year) and count by number with five sections of 2 articles in each one. of them. The articles will be received through the public call for submission through calls for publication in RED GADE coordinated by experts on the subject (Editorial Committee).

EDITORIAL PROCESS:

GADE: Scientific Journal, acknowledges receipt of the works sent by the authors and inform by e-mail (vicepresidenciaredgade@gmail.com) and on the platform of the estimation/rejection and acceptance/rejection process, as well as, in case of acceptance, of the editing process. The official website (Standards section) offers the complete publication standards, checklist prior to submission, the manuscript structure format, the cover letter and originality, fillable cover, the OJS submission guide for the manuscript (manager), as well as the evaluation protocol for external reviewers. Within a maximum period of 30 days, from the receipt of each work, they will receive notification of receipt, indicating whether the work is rejected or preliminary estimated for its evaluation by scientific advisers. In the event that the manuscript presents formal deficiencies or is not included in the thematic focus of the publication, the Editorial Committee will formally or thematically reject the work without the option of returning it. Subsequent correspondence with authors of rejected articles will not be maintained. On the contrary, if it presents superficial formal deficiencies, it will be returned to the author for correction before the start of the evaluation process. The entry date of the work will not count until the correct reception of the manuscript. It is recommended that the manuscript be checked with the self-check before it is sent. Manuscripts will be scientifically evaluated, anonymously, by an average of two experts in the subject, if there are different criteria, they will be sent to a third expert. In view of the external reports (see annex to the evaluation protocol for scientific reviewers), the acceptance/rejection of the articles for publication will be decided, as well as the introduction, if appropriate, of the appropriate modifications.
