Strategies to prevent sedentarism in 9th grade students at Antonia Santos Educational Institution
Abstract
The following article talks about the strategies to prevent a sedentary lifestyle in the Antonia Santos Educational Institution. The objective is to analyze the sedentary lifestyle in ninth grade students at the Antonia Santos Educational Institution, in order to find strategies that help promote the performance of physical activities in order to improve the habits and quality of life of students who will participate. A survey was applied as an instrument to 50 ninth grade students, which gave a percentage of 100% of those evaluated. As a result, it is expected to know how sedentary the surveyed students are, what extrinsic and intrinsic factors lead them to be so, and how to counteract it, in order to make them active and non-sedentary adults.
