Implementation of management systems as a tool for improvement in the provision of public services

Abstract

The objective of this scientific article is to analyze the process of implementation of Management Systems in an organization providing public services, its impact and influence, to demonstrate that its implementation constitutes a tool for improvement in the provision of its services, for this purpose it is carries out an analysis of the problems faced by organizations providing public services in Ecuador, the challenges they assume, using the bibliographic/documentary method for a study of the norms that regulate the actions of these organizations, their behavior and organic structure, the limitations they have, as well as the management systems, their use, application, benefits and how these can help in the administrative actions of the organizations, a field investigation was carried out in the reference organization that allowed us to collect the information in two axes. , the first the perception of the organization's staff and the second the perception of the users, in a comparative framework of what were the results of the implementation of two management systems in the organization and how these have influenced positively or negatively the institution and in its exercise, providing us with the main findings of the positive impact that its implementation had, generating an organizational development that, in accordance with the requirements and standards of the reference standards, allowed generating a notable continuous improvement in the provision of its services.
