Labor practice in Higher Technical Training: methodological alternative from a theoretical systematization

Abstract

Work practice plays a fundamental role in the training of professionals in the field of physical activity and sports. The methodological limitations in its operation disfavor the integrated granting of the process and the consolidation of learning results. Accordingly, the present study assumed a type of theoretical systematization research focused on designing a methodological alternative from theoretical-scientific systematization to optimize the management of work practice in students in the field of physical activity and sports. To satisfy the demands of the objectives, methods at the theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical level were used, including bibliographic analysis, document review, synthetic analytical method, survey, methodological triangulation, simulation, and modeling. Two variables were analyzed: Professional performance for the management of the PL and Student training for professional practices. It is shown that work practice is of great relevance for academic development, from the work setting itself, they become a fundamental academic setting for personal experiences on par with professional ones. The theoretical systematization made it possible to develop a methodological alternative composed of stages, objectives and actions, for the Physical Activity, Sports and Recreation Career, with a logical vision of action for academic training integrated into professional work practice. The proposal allows students to acquire practical skills, analyze and solve problems in natural settings where physical activity, sports and recreation take place, and promote interaction with practicing professionals.
