Evaluation of school sports in grade 7 students at the educational institution villa margarita
Abstract
School sports have long been considered a highly relevant activity in the educational field, as well as an excellent means of addressing various problems in our educational and social environment. However, to address both aspects, it is necessary to understand the motivations of schoolchildren toward sports practice. This research seeks to evaluate school sports among 7th grade students at the Villa Margarita Educational Institution. A quantitative approach was used, as it seeks to measure and analyze numerical data through a descriptive paradigm. This approach seeks to measure and collect information, either independently or jointly, on the concepts or variables to which they refer. A questionnaire was used as an instrument. The population consisted of 7th grade students at the institution. The results also show that the research was positive, as students agree that school sports strengthen physical health, and that the school has good materials and infrastructure for teaching them. It is concluded that further research on school sports is necessary and that they are a fundamental tool for the comprehensive development of students in the educational field.
