This edition constitutes a gateway to the reflection and analysis of a set of investigations based on the area of the pedagogy of physical activity and sport. The value of the contributions can be found in the deep theoretical systematization that is offered of unquestionably current issues; some of which verify the correlation of variables of high importance for the community of researchers and professionals interested in administrative, sports and educational management. Within the analyzes provided, the results of the association between anxiety and performance, motivation and academic performance in university students, body mass index and obesity in adolescents, physical activity and sarcopenia in older adults, are offered. the association between physical activity and cognitive impairment, the relationship between kickboxing teaching and collaborative learning. Special significance is acquired by the contributions of the studies that record the description and measurement of service-learning in the process of technological training, social intervention with an exercise program to improve physical condition and BMI in adults under the virtual modality and the Assessment of the ideal state of sports performance in the goalkeepers of the women's soccer team under 20 of Ecuador.
