Abstract

The research, which is presented here, aims to identify the lifestyles and the level of physical activity in young people from the Sports District of the Municipality of Buenavista Córdoba. Thus, for this purpose, methodologically, the type of cross-sectional descriptive research is used, in which three instruments were used to collect information. A sociodemographic record was established, where variables such as (gender, age) were investigated. In addition, the 10 dimensions established by the FANTASTICO questionnaire (associativity, physical activity, nutrition, toxicity, alcohol, sleep and stress, personality type and activities, inner image, health and sexuality control and order) were evaluated. Physical activity level was established using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). According to the above, the most studied population was made up of the female gender, where the age range is represented by 18-22 years. Regarding the FANTASTIC variables, the dimensions prevailed: family, friends, alcohol and other drugs. In addition, low associativity prevails in the levels of physical activity. As conclusions, the identification of the proposed objectives, creates the need to carry out concrete actions, in order to improve the lifestyles of young people.
